It's not a straight shot to Mendocino. But it is a beautiful one, and well worth it. Mendocino is Mendocino because of its location. It's a quaint village on a dramatic coastline, where you simply slow down and smell the sea and pine trees. Once you're here, be prepared to relax and refresh in what some would say is paradise. The Moosse Café and Blue Heron Inn are located approximately three hours north of San Francisco. Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and continue on Highway 101 through Cloverdale. Take Highway 128 west to Highway One. When you reach the coast, head north on Highway One (approximately 10 miles) to Mendocino. Turn left at the Jackson Street business district sign and continue 4 blocks to Kasten Street. Turn right. We are on your left, the SW corner of Kasten & Albion Streets – 390 Kasten Street. |
